• Custom splash screen with startup code

  • Set security such as hiding/showing ribbon, database window, status bar.

• Custom user permissions
  • Provide your users with a secure environment with user login.
  • Each user receives their own custom permissions. Allow a user full access or a single report or form, or anything between.
  • Read/write/delete permissions for each user.
    • Permit/deny users to add new records, delete records, edit records or allow add new only for each form.

• Session logging
  • Log when users login and logout of your applications. Logs user name, time and computer.
  • See who is logged in. Send an instant message or remotely log a user out.
  • Send a message to a user not currently logged in and the user will receive the message the next time they login.

  • Custom error handling allows you to choose which error should be shown to the user or recorded in a error log.

  • Log when objects, such as forms or reports, are opened, by who, time and computer.

  • Use a single table for all of your lookup values and allow your end users to add/edit lookup values.
• Required fields
  • Highlight fields in forms to show which fields should not be blank.

• Record logging
  • Log when a record is added, edited or deleted, by who, time, form name, record source and computer.
• Audit log
  • Choose to allow an audit log for a form and each time a fields value is changed, the audit log records the before and after values, by who, time, computer name, form name and field name.
• Create demo versions of your application
  • Choose to allow your application to function for a certain period of time. Once expired, the end user is advised that the application has expired and they need to contact the developer. Setting the computers clock back has no affect and will not "trick" the application into functioning again.

System Administration

Force User Logout

Send a message to your users currently loggen in that database administration is about to begin and they must logout. Select the amount of time before users are automatically logged out. Once users are logged out, no new users are allowed entry. A message box alerts users that database administration is currently being completed. Once database administration is complete, the database can be utilized again.
